Victorian diamond Star burst brooch mounted in silver and 18ct gold. English. Circa 1860. The central old cut round cluster set between a smaller scattered inner border and a larger outer diamond border, suspended from a small round old cut diamond and a loop. The piece also has a central fitting which originally would have allowed the piece to be set as the centre piece of a Tiara or Head piece. Total diamond weight approximately 2.50cts.
